Finally the long awaited 3rd live NFO album has been released.

Beautiful People, NFO live at the Espy 3 shows an evolution over the last few years and showcases the current NFO live sound in all its funky groove and glory.

Recorded in August 06 on our 9th anniversary show,the band and crowd were well and truly 'in the zone' and delivered such a great set it was a very hard task to pick the best of the best for inclusion on the album.

Mixed at Atlantis studios in Melbourne AU by Loki Lockwood, we managed to capture the live energy and buzz of the night, resulting in a release we are very proud of.

'Bent As A Dali'

1997 - Nude

Recorded in an old mansion in Camberwell,(since demolished), Nude took over the whole place and turned it into one giant recording studio. The control room was in one of the front rooms, and a mass of leads ran out the door and spread out like huge wild vines all over the house.
Standout tracks are 'Blood red roses' and 'Fragment', which showed the diverse range of styles the band loved to play.

'25 And Fine'

9/11/97 - NFO

This is the first live offering from NFO, recorded entirely at the Espy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Utilizing the studio that once existed out the back of the espy, (espy recorders), and mixed by James 'Oysters' Kilpatrick of Midnight Oil fame, this album captured the early incarnation of NFO, which included acoustic guitar and also Dr D playing the 'Theremin', a strange device which was used in a lot of early sci fi movies.

'No Possessions' - Nude

1999 - Nude

No possessions is the second original recording from the Nude boys, showing the beginnings of a new direction for Nude. Recorded at studio 111 on the Williamstown beach front, this is a fantastic sounding recording, using a combination of vintage valve gear, together with the latest digital recording equipment. Produced by the genius of Dr D, No possessions even managed to get some airplay on JJJ. Still one of the crowd favorites, it is still requested by punters almost every week.

Gig At The End Of The World

1999 - NFO

This is the second live offering from NFO, which shows a bigger live sound as the band progressed over the first years. Recorded at the final gig for 1999, the title 'gig at the end of the world', was our joke at all the hype surrounding the Y2K bug at the time...This has been our best selling album to date, which sold out very quickly. It has since been reprinted, so is once again available.

Fill Up My World

2000 - NUDE

Fill up is the most current original recording from Nude, showing a smoother more polished production and very cool grooves.The beautiful nude photography used in the artwork was supplied by one of the regular punters. This was recorded with the 'Sci Sonic' boys at the helm, in their studio atop a building in St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, with fantastic sounds creating a very interesting atmosphere throughout.
